Northwell’s Walk to Raise Health is Sunday, May 18! 

Last year, more than 6,000 walkers joined Northwell to Raise Health in our communities and across New York. 

Here’s what you can expect on Walk Day:

Register for the Walk and keep funds local

Northwell’s Walk to Raise Health is a fundraising event that supports facilities and programs local to our community. 

The Walk is open to participants of all ages. Everyone age 14 and over can self-register for walk day by making a $20 donation. Those funds will count toward your fundraising total and will be your first step toward earning fundraising rewards! 

Northwell's Walk to Raise Health at East End
Location: RGNY, Riverhead
Medical Center: Peconic Bay Medical Center
What your funds support: Funds from the Walk will support specialized breast health services for cancer patients and will fund the creation of the Emilie Roy Corey Center for Women and Infants, ensuring that babies and women of all ages can receive the care they need in Eastern Suffolk County. 

Northwell's Walk to Raise Health at Jones Beach
Location: Jones Beach State Park, Field 1, Wantagh
Medical Center: Cohen Children’s Medical Center and the Katz Institute for Women’s Health
What your funds support: Your funds will expand mental health access for kids and support groundbreaking research through the Chairman’s Research Award, as well as initiatives to improve women’s overall health, including pelvic health, metabolic and autoimmune, and midlife and menopause care.

Northwell's Walk to Raise Health at Port Jefferson
Location: Mather Hospital, Port Jefferson
Medical Center: Mather Hospital
What your funds support: Funds raised will support Mather Hospital’s Fortunato Breast Health Center and ongoing efforts to advance education and treatment for breast cancer in the community.

Northwell's Walk to Raise Health at Staten Island
Location: The Picnic Area at Father Capodanno Blvd & Lincoln Ave, Staten Island
Medical Center: Staten Island University Hospital
What your funds support: Your funds will support the state-of-the-art Florina Cancer Center and the Brian Halpin Pediatric Cancer Center, a kid-friendly space where the smallest patients will receive expert care in a dedicated space just for them.  

Northwell's Walk to Raise Health at Westchester
Location: Phelps Hospital, Sleepy Hollow
Medical Center: Phelps Hospital and Northern Westchester Hospital 
What your funds support: Your funds will expand innovative behavioral health programs to support the emotional wellbeing of children and adolescents across Westchester. Your funds will also benefit the Westchester Community Paramedicine Program to improve access to care and reduce ER visits at Phelps Hospital.
