Funds raised for the Walk support the Katz Institute for Women’s Health and Cohen Children’s Medical Center.
Katz Institute for Women’s Health
Your funds will continue to support comprehensive women’s health services for women at every age and stage. Funds will go towards clinical programs at the Katz Institute for Women’s Health, including pelvic health, metabolic and autoimmune, and midlife and menopause care.
Cohen Children's Medical Center:
Child and Adolescent Mental Health: Nearly one in five children has an emotional, behavioral or mental disorder. Sadly, only 20% of those diagnosed receive care. Cohen Children’s Medical Center is committed to addressing this growing crisis head on by creating an entirely new model of behavioral health care for children. Funds from the Walk will support the creation of a new physical hub for behavioral health, designed around the needs of kids and teens.
The Chairman’s Research Award: Funds for the Walk also fuel groundbreaking research at Cohen Children’s Medical Center through the Chairman’s Research Award. This award gives junior faculty and fellows the opportunity to tackle promising leads in nearly a dozen subspecialities at the children’s hospital. Every dollar you raise will empower our clinicians and scientists to innovate, push boundaries and contribute to a new, brighter chapter in pediatric health.
